Our AML and Verification Policy
We hold licence OGL/2024/1450/0912 from Curaçao, and that licence carries real obligations: knowing who plays on our platform, watching where money comes from, and reporting anything suspicious. This page sets out exactly what we verify, when, and what happens if verification stalls.
Our AML Commitment
Casinolab Casino operates under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1450/0912, held by Nova Interactive N.V. That licence binds us to anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing rules designed to keep gambling platforms out of the criminal economy. We treat those rules as operational requirements, not paperwork.
Our programme covers three pillars: customer due diligence (we verify who you are), transaction monitoring (we watch deposits and withdrawals for unusual patterns), and reporting (we file suspicious activity reports with the relevant authority when the law requires it). Our appointed compliance officer, the MLRO, owns this programme and reviews it annually.
When We Verify You
Verification points
We run verification at three moments: at registration (basic identity and age checks), before your first withdrawal (full document verification), and at any point where thresholds or suspicious activity trigger enhanced checks. You can keep playing after registration, but no withdrawal leaves our platform until your account is fully verified.
- At registration: age confirmation (18+) and duplicate-account screening
- Before your first withdrawal: full identity, address and payment-method verification
- On threshold triggers: when cumulative deposits or withdrawals exceed levels set in our internal policy
- On risk alerts: unusual betting patterns, rapid deposit-withdrawal cycling or third-party payments
Documents we require
We ask for three document types, and all three must be current, legible and in your own name.
- Government photo ID: passport, driver licence or national ID card
- Proof of address: utility bill, bank statement or official letter dated within the last 3 months
- Payment method verification: a photo of the card (middle digits masked) or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet showing your name
Step by Step Verification
Verification runs through your account dashboard. Most players complete it in under ten minutes once documents are ready. Our compliance team reviews submissions within 24 to 72 hours, and we notify you by email the moment your status changes.
- 1. Open the Verification section of your account profile.
- 2. Upload your government photo ID (all four corners visible, no glare).
- 3. Upload a proof-of-address document issued within the last 3 months.
- 4. Upload payment-method evidence for the method you intend to withdraw with.
- 5. Our compliance team reviews within 24 to 72 hours and emails you the result.
- 6. If anything is unclear, we request a replacement document; nothing is rejected without explanation.
How we protect your documents
When We Ask About Funds
For most players, identity and address checks are enough. When deposits reach levels defined in our internal risk policy, or when transaction patterns look inconsistent with your profile, we may ask for evidence of the origin of the money you play with. This is called a Source of Funds request, and it is a legal requirement under our Curaçao licence, not a judgement about you.
Acceptable evidence includes recent payslips, a tax return or notice of assessment, bank statements showing regular income, a signed employment contract, dividend statements, or sale documents for property or assets. For crypto deposits, we may ask about the origin wallet or the exchange you acquired funds from. If you win big and withdraw a large amount, expect a Source of Wealth check before payout, particularly for withdrawals approaching our 7,500 AUD weekly cap.
How We Monitor Transactions
- Minimum deposit: 30 AUD; minimum withdrawal: 30 AUD
- Maximum withdrawal: 7,500 AUD per week (VIP players may negotiate higher limits with their manager)
- E-wallets and crypto: 0 to 24 hours; bank transfer: 1 to 3 business days
- We charge no fees on deposits or withdrawals
- Withdrawals go back to the same verified method you deposited with, wherever the payment provider supports it

How Long We Keep Records
Frequently asked questions
How long does verification take at Casinolab Casino?
Our compliance team reviews documents within 24 to 72 hours. Most complete submissions clear in under a day, and we email you the moment your account is verified.
Can I withdraw before completing verification?
No. The first withdrawal from our platform requires full verification: government ID, proof of address and payment-method evidence. This is a condition of our Curaçao licence.
Do you verify crypto withdrawals the same way?
Yes. Crypto withdrawals go to your verified wallet, and we may ask for evidence of the origin of funds for larger crypto deposits, including which exchange the coins came from.
Why do I have to withdraw to the same method I deposited with?
Anti-money-laundering rules require funds to return along their original path. Where a deposit method cannot receive payouts, we use the next verified method you deposited with.
What happens to my documents after verification?
We store them encrypted for at least 5 years after account closure, as our licence requires. Only vetted compliance staff can access them, and every access is logged.
